Unlike many web sites displaying Avtex TVs we are approved Avtex dealers and stock the new 2010 models. The W163D 16” widescreen 12 volt TV/DVD, W163T 16” widescreen TV and the W103D 10” widescreen TV/DVD combi are all available now along with established models like the W193D 19” widescreen All in One combined TV/DVD.
All the Avtex 12 volt TVs and TV/DVD combinations have twin tuning systems (Digital for FREEVIEW and a conventional Multi-standard Analogue one). This allows them to receive live terrestrial TV programmes throughout Europe both now and after the Digital Switch Over. The W193D, W163D and W163T are all HD Ready with two HDMI sockets for connecting external HD equipment such as FREESAT HD, Sky HD or an HD camcorder. The Avtex W193D, W163D, W163T and the W103D have the unique to Avtex AQT (Avtex Quick Tune) one button tuning system. This along with the inclusion of MHEG-5 that allows Auto-sorting of the Digital Freeview Channels make all these 12 volt TVs very easy to use. Caravan/Motorhome Aerials
We have High Gain Directional Aerials and UHF TV signal finder/meters to aid the reception of Freeview in Motor homes and Caravans. With the Digital switchover to FREEVIEW it is now more important than ever to ensure good reception. There is no point in having a State of the Art 12 volt HD Ready TV if you don't feed a good signal into it.
Satellite TV for Caravans & Motorhomes
Due to the more consistent reception an ever increasing number of campers are resorting to Satellite as thier chose of source for TV programmes in a Caravan or Motorhome. There is now great choice available for many "Free" programmes as well as subscription channels. The Freesat system set up by the BBC and ITV is being used by a significant number of people in the leisure market along with a core of Sky subscribers.
